If semi-precious stones have their own cache of best kept secrets, then one of them is definitely Larimar. It's a rare form of Pectolite that has only been found in a remote mountain range of the Dominican Republic. Larimar was reportedly discovered in 1916 by Father Miguel Domingo Fuertes Loren. Named for Miguel's daughter, Larissa, and "mar," the Spanish word for "sea," Larimar captures the exquisite beauty of the Caribbean Sea.
The stones on this bracelet each have their own unique square-like shapes. The small round beads in between the precious Larimar stones are faceted Amazonite. The clasp is sterling silver (.925). Matching necklace and earrings also available.
