We survived the pandemic, and we're back in full swing!

Hi friends! Summer is in full swing and the sales are sizzling at Laura Moore Designs! People are excited to get out and about, and there is a lot of pent-up demand for shopping. We’re getting back to a new normal after the Covid pandemic. Thankfully we were able to survive the pandemic shutdown with some much-needed assistance. Laura was awarded two artists grants – one from the State of Maryland, and the other from the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County. COVID19 Update

I want to let everyone know what we've been up to at Laura Moore Designs. We were wrapping up our Florida season and going strong but the last few events were cancelled due to the virus. At the end I had a gentleman panic because his usual jewelry store closed and would not ship, he was ecstatic that I had jewelry for him and found a wonderful aquamarine necklace for his wife's March birthday! On this Mother’s Day, I hope we get to put our feet up. I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking about moms and all of the roles we wear every day. It makes me feel thankful…but it also make me tired! One of my main roles is as a “Mompreneur,” and that is especially relevant on this holiday as it’s one of my busiest workwise, but also meaningful personally. A Few Days in My Life: Socks, Oysters and Photo Shoots!

Last October, I was at a fundraiser for a local organization, Stepping Out for Breast Cancer, when a reporter from the Baltimore Sun introduced himself. He mentioned that he wanted to feature me in the Spring 2019 edition of Baltimore At Home Magazine, a subscriber insert in the Baltimore Sun. They were doing a “Made in Maryland” feature.
